Almost spooky season (and I have ideas 👻)


It’s almost spooky season!

Living in Arizona, I don’t really get into the fall vibes THAT much, what with the hot weather all year round and all here in AZ, but it’s my favourite holiday outside of Thanksgiving..

I’ve been working in cannabis marketing and retail for almost a decade. In that time, I’ve seen plenty of campaigns pop and flop. I’ve had time to see what works and what doesn’t, and also had plenty of opportunities to flex my own creative muscles and come up with my own.

Now, I have a bunch of campaign ideas that are, well, different than the average.

I don’t always get the chance to implement them, and I’m all about helping the community, which is why I’m building out a FREE Campaign Library on my website filled with all of them.

Each one will come with a goal, target audience, key messaging points, KPIs, and more.

The first one I have is for (duh) Halloween.

Most dispensaries will do some kind of trick-or-treat event or hand out candy or something generic, but I’ve created a gamified campaign that will turn October into your most engaging month by adding a little mystery into the customer experience.

I’ll sum it up quick here: This campaign prompts members to spin a digital wheel within the AIQ

Wallet that reveals a time-sensitive reward for redemption. Each spin delivers an offer or perk designed to fast-track customers into your lobby.

The goal is to make the unveiling easy for customers to obtain and fun.
